妻、夫、妻の愛人。それぞれの愛情や嫉妬の絡み合いを、リアルかつスリリング描くラブ・ストーリー。韓国トップ女優チョン・ドヨン（『スキャンダル』）の体当たり演技で話題となった作品です。共演のチェ・ミンシク（『シュリ』）とチュ・ジンモ（『MUSA －武士』）の、愛憎から常軌を逸していく演技も秀逸。タイトルの“ハッピーエンド”を「幸せな終わり」と取るか「幸せの終わり」と取るかは、観るものに託されています。

英語学院の院長を務めるボラ（チョン・ドヨン）。リストラされた夫ミンギ（チェ・ミンシク）に生まれたばかりの子どもの世話を任せ働く一方、イルボム（チュ・ジンモ）との不倫を続けている。ポラはイルボムとの付き合いを「身体だけのもの」と割り切っているが、イルボムは彼女を本気で愛していた。彼女と彼女の子どもを引き取り、ともに暮らすことを夢みるイルボム。不安定ながらバランスを保っていた三角関係が崩れ始めた…。
